Inside each and every person I meet, I believe there is an athlete. Whether it is simply having the energy to keep up with your kids or training for an elite athletic event, we are all born with an innate need to move and strengthen our bodies. As a lifelong athlete, I realized my love of the gym when I joined a weightlifting class in high school… I was hooked. I started my personal training career while working for and earning my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Creighton University (Omaha, NE). I am currently pursuing a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Corrective Exercise Specialist and Performance Enhancement Specialist. I am also a certified nutrition coach through Precision Nutrition. In my programming, I like to tailor the nutritional suggestions and exercise selection to each individual. Programs are designed to be progressive and focus on proper biomechanics. I educate my clients on the changes necessary to get sustainable long-term results. With my history as both a competitive gymnast and gymnastics coach I really try to incorporate a variety of functional movements as well as traditional strength training. Fitness should be fun and bring out your inner athlete. Let’s get stronger together!
