The Ectomorph Body Type
Even though it sounds like something you’ll discover on an alien ship, the ectomorph body type represents the tall and skinny people of the world. People with the ectomorph body type is blessed and cursed at the same time. Because they have a great metabolic system, but this creates a serious challenge to put on muscle. In fact, they actually have a problem with putting on weight.
The Endomorph Body Type
At the other end of the spectrum, you’ll find the endomorph body type. And while these body types are considered the polar opposite of an ectomorph, they aren’t always short. But unfortunately, they also have slow metabolic systems.
And to make the problem worse, it is fat that typically dominates their size, leaving little to no space for muscles – in a manner of speaking. This is due to the adipose tissue.
Where an ectomorph can feel full after a small meal, it doesn’t work the same way for an endomorph. But even when they eat next to nothing, they still seem to gain weight.

The Mesomorph Body Type
The last body type on the list is the one most people aspire to have. It’s because the mesomorph type pretty much takes the best of both worlds and combine them.
These are people who have a naturally good balance between everything. For example, they have broad shoulders and a tiny waist. They can eat casually and not really worry about gaining too much weight. And if they do put on a few more pounds, they seem to shed it just as quickly.
When it comes to building muscle and toning the body, all it takes is a few intense workouts to see a significant difference.
Can You Change Your Body?
The straightforward answer is yes, you can change your body. However, you need to be realistic in terms of how much it can change, and how much work you will need to put into it.
